Brenda Adcock
Typesetter
Brenda Adcock holds a BA in Political Science and an
MA in Eastern European Studies. As a graduate student
she worked as a researcher and proofreader for doctoral
dissertation candidates. She has worked as a graphic
designer and typesetter for a large printing company
in Texas, a display advertising specialist, typesetter
and proofreader for her local newspaper and a public
relations specialist for the military before eventually
receiving her secondary school certification. She has
spent over twenty years teaching students to write specifically
for the Social Studies. Brenda is an avid and life-long
reader who has beta read for a number of published authors,
but particularly enjoys beta reading for new writers.
As a copy editor and typesetter her goal is to help
produce works that are satisfying for both the author
and the reader.
The Submissions Team
The submissions team is made up of a number of readers from across the country who take the time to read each and every manuscript that is sent to Regal Crest. Upon finding a manuscript that is promising, they provide detailed information to the publisher who then reviews and analyzes the submission to decide whether to offer a contract. The members of our submissions team are kept anonymous in order to keep them from pressure or influence. All of them are avid readers, read swiftly, and have educational backgrounds that make them well-suited to evaluating submissions.
