When she isn’t tied to her work she enjoys traveling, reading, writing, bushwalking and acting as entertainment for her cats. She is an avid sportswoman, however, with accumulated injuries and an ever-widening perception and reality gap, she is now more of a spectator than a participant. Nevertheless, on sunny days she can be found with her partner on the golf course practicing a game that could loosely be grouped under the generic title of golf.

And Those Who Trespass Against Us

*Available in eBook formats only*

Sister Katherine Flynn is an Irish nun, sent by her order to work in the Australian outback. Katherine is a prideful woman who originally joined her order to escape the shame of being left at the altar. She had found herself getting married only because society dictated it for a young woman her age, and she was not exactly heartbroken when it didn't take place. Yet, her mother could not be consoled and talked of nothing except the disgrace that she had brought to the Flynn name. So, she finds great relief in escaping the cold Victorian Ireland of 1872. Upon her arrival in the outback, she is thrust into the aftermath of a horrific windstorm that has devastated the town, leaving death and suffering in its wake. She begins her work of tending to the less fortunate families of the district and finds great joy in educating the children.

Catriona Pelham is a member of the reasonably affluent farming gentry within the district. Her relationship with the hardworking townspeople and its farmers is one of genuine and mutual respect. The town's wealthy, however, have ostracized her due to her unorthodox ways and refusal to conform to society's expectations of a woman of the 1870's. Catriona finds comfort in the friendship of the townspeople and farmers, but at night she pines for the lover she lost long ago -her governess, Adele Cooper.

As a bond between Katherine and Catriona develops, Catriona finds herself wanting more than friendship from the Irishwoman. However, she fears pursuing her feelings lest they not be reciprocated. And so the journey begins for these two strong-willed women. For Katherine it is a journey of self-discovery and of what life holds outside the cloistered walls of the convent. For Catriona it is bittersweet, as feelings she has kept hidden for years resurface in her growing interest in Katherine.

Love's Redemption

*Available in eBook formats only*

Ten years ago talented Lauren Wheatley was on the verge of golfing greatness. As the world's number one amateur, she stood on the cusp of entry to the women's professional tour. However in a quirk of fate, she imploded in spectacular fashion, during a tournament that would have signaled her immediate entry into the professional ranks. She walked away and never played professional golf again.

Jo Ashby is a reporter narrating and producing the 'Where are They Now?' series, a program focusing on well-known people who have left fame behind, instead opting for a different direction in life. Her subject for the final program is the enigmatic Lauren Wheatley who, despite Jo's best efforts, evades her attempts at an interview.

Jo travels to the pristine wilderness of Tasmania to confront Lauren. However, instead of confrontation, she is captured by the beauty of the surrounding land and the woman herself. Coupled with this beauty lies a greater story behind the fragile façade of Lauren's life. Can Jo break through the barriers Lauren has shielded herself with, and conquer the riddle that is Lauren Wheatley? Can Jo reconcile her professional requirements, yet face her own demons and, once and for all, put them to rest?

Set against the backdrop of the Tasmanian wilderness, Love's Redemption follows the rocky lives of two headstrong women, affirming that sometimes the phrase 'and they lived happily ever after' is often more fairytale than fact.
